Earthlings: Review

Has anyone ever heard of the movie Earthlings? I haven't. Not until today. I was going across a few blogs, and found a movie that I was debating if I should share with you all or not. I've decided that I would mention it and give my opinion. Whoever would want to watch it afterwards can if they wish. It's your decision. I'm not going to force anyone to watch this. I barely could even do it. Don't watch this at work or anything like that, though. It's best to be as home if you wanted to see this.

This is a documentary about many things. It is about Earthlings. Nature, animals, and humankind. It goes through what horrible outcomes of pets can be, but the most of this was about the meat industry and what animals go through in order to become the food that people eat every single day. The movie also goes over leather, fur, and other such productions. The final section is about animals slaughtered for entertainment. This is one of the bloodiest movies I've ever seen, and it's all real.

Go here to see the website. There's nothing bad when you click it, but you can go to watch the trailer or the full movie on this website if you wish. When introduced to this, I watched the trailer, which was bad enough as it was. I couldn't imagine it getting any worse--but it did.

This movie is an hour and a half long. While watching, the footage never seemed to end. I swore that I was watching that for over double of that time. I couldn't stop crying even when it was over. One of my biggest sensitivity buttons is about animals. I love animals so much, and this was the most heartbreaking film I've ever seen. I've seen other movies sort of like this, but I think that this is the most emotional one.

Now, I usually wouldn't put myself through so much emotional pain or because I would like to watch something like this. I wanted to make sure that I wouldn't want to turn back on my choice. It has provided a push to keep me from eating meat. I don't want to be a part of this abuse, anymore. If anything, this may affirm some people's choices about being vegetarian or vegan, or may convince people it's a good idea. Honestly, I don't care if you watch it, or just the trailer, or anything. I just wanted to put this out there in case anyone was interested in helping themselves change their way of thinking. Hell, maybe you'll learn a thing or two.

If anyone watches the trailer or the whole movie, I'd love to hear your thoughts on it.
